Yenny News

It was less than a month since Yenny won NPC Team U Fitness
Championships in NYC, which earned Yenny her IFBB Pro status.
Yenny wasted no time in making her IFBB debut, and came out on top!

Dreams do come true!

I had a dream, and I really did have a dream - that I was on stage performing my fitness routine, that the crowd loved, and that I had also performed very well. I woke before any outcome was reached… but I knew when I woke up that my dream was very real; so real that I right away said to myself , "I just had a premonition!" This happened a week before NPC Nationals.

In 2007, I competed in the NPC Nationals for the first time for my chance at gaining the IFBB Pro Status. I missed it by one placement. In 2009, I decided to give NPC Fitness Nationals another try.

So I went to NYC on Sept. 17th to perform my new 'party theme' fitness routine... Guess what, my hard work paid off! I am now a IFBB Athlete!

Yenny Polanco has accomplished a great deal in her 31 years of life, and dedicated a lot of time to the fitness industry by competing, judging Fitness and Figure comps,  hosting a Fitness radio talk show in the past, and training others. As well as giving daily guidance to those seeking knowledge in exercise and nutrition. She has gone from being a Cosmetologist,  to opening her own Hair Salon business (2001-2006) , to being a 2x Golden Gloves Boxing Champion! And a former Public Access T.V. Producer ( in 2003 produced a make-over show called 'Re-Inventing Yourself'). She is the Spokes Model for Cortibalm!  Big dreams made into reality for a little Dominican girl who came to America not knowing the English language. Multi faceted, talented, and a natural athlete. Yenny Polanco is a true Renaissance  young woman.

IFBB debut

Yenny qualifies for the Olympia 2010 in her first IFBB contest! 

On Oct. 10th, 2009, Yenny made her IFBB Fitness debut. Placed top 5! And then made the top 3! Qualifying her to compete in the 2010 Olympia!

On Sept 19th, 2009 Yenny entered NPC Team Universe Championships in NYC, won her class and earned her IFBB Pro status!

And in less than a  month made her IFBB debut, and came out on top!

May 16th, IFPA: Yenny wins IFPA Women's Pro Bowl (2009 VA State Champion)!

Massachustts' Yenny Polanco claims the Pro Figure title at the IFPA Pro Bowl that took place May 16th in Richmond, Virginia. Polanco edged out reigning IFPA Yorton Cup Pro World champ Naomie Murdock by receiving four of the seven judges' first place marks. Murdock grabbed the other three.
